The future of the sport of fly fishing is dependent on fly anglers acting as conservationists. Protecting our waters is crucial. Forests, streams, and wetlands are disappearing. Pollution and sedimentation are killing our fish and aquatic plants and insects. Overfishing is depleting fish stocks.
Fly fishing is as much about conservation as it is about the art and enjoyment of fly fishing, and you need to be actively involved.
To find out more about the status of conservation and how you can help, go to the tab titled "Learn About Fly Fishing" on this website and see the posts under "Fly Fishing and Conservation".
